For a second week the ensemble of DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber and rappers Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil' Wayne retain the No.1 spot in Australia with their track "I'm the One".

The song also climbs to the top in New Zealand and debuted at No.1 in the USA and Canada this past week, whilst it lost its top spot in the UK. And by staying another week it takes Justin's tally of weeks at the top here to 15 in total, placing him now outright sixth on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: 2010's; Singles', one week behind the 16 notched up by Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis. Plus Justin moves up on the similar list for the period 1940 to 2017 from equal 54th to now equal 49th alongside the 15 weeks racked up by Roy Orbison and Guy Sebastian (6 No.1's), and George Michael (5 No.1's).

The song which knocked Justin off the top in the UK, debuted there last week in Ireland, and has been at the top in over 20 countries already, and here "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee with Justin Bieber leaps up eight places to land at a new peak of No.2. Which gives Justin his third set of Top 3 placings in Australia, as he first did it back in mid-November of 2015 with "Sorry" and "Love Yourself" (which both went to No.2 and No.1 respectively for a single week together), and then he did it again last year as guest vocalist on "Cold Water" with Major Lazer and "Let Me Love You" with DJ Snake (at No.2 and No.3 respectively in mid-August of 2016).

And like Ed Sheeran didn't create enough records already during 2017, he has gone and done it again, alongside Justin (whom he has written several songs for), as not only does Justin have two songs in the Top 5, but so does Ed this week, as "Galway Girl" is back up one to No.3 and his former No.1 "Shape of You" is down two places to No.4, it's lowest chart position during its 18 weeks within the Top 5.

Also down two places is the former No.2 for Kendrick Lamar and "Humble.", which drops to No.5, whilst on hold at its peak of No.6 is the new Shawn Mendes track "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back". Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson also move down two places to No.7 with their "Symphony" track and another teaming in The Chainsmokers and Coldplay are down a spot to No.8 with "Something Just Like This". On hold at No.9 is the Harry Styles track "Sign of the Times", which should retain its Top 10 status again next week due to the screening on Friday of him performing on the Graham Norton Show, and his debut self-titled solo album being issued on Friday (12th May) too. The final two place drop within the ten goes to Zedd and Alessia Cara who are down to No.10 with "Stay", meaning no songs entered or left the Top 10 this week.

* Jason DeRulo lands his seventeenth Top 20 hit in Australia, as his latest "Swalla" with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, with three of the previous sixteen Top 20 entries only landing within the twenty, the rest all moved on up and into the Top 10.
* Bliss N' Eso might have lost their No.1 albums position this week, but the "Off the Grid"s latest release in "Moments" holds its No.25 peak for a second week.
* Also on hold at its peak is last weeks No.29 debut for Kygo and Ellie Goulding with "First Time".
* Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato are up six places to a new peak of No.30 with "No Promises", becoming the fifth Top 30 hit in Australia for Demi, her two highest (both peaked at No.14) were as guest vocalist with Olly Murs ("Up", 2015) and The Vamps ("Somebody to You", 2014).
* Charlie Puth climbs eight spots to a new peak of No.32 with his "Attention" track.
* Five weeks ago Martin Jensen peaked at No.40 with his "Solo Dance", where it re-peaks at again this week, up two places.
* After ten weeks within the Top 100, Post Malone finally break into the Top 50 with their first chart entry "Congratulations", which this week is up fifteen places to a new peak of No.45.
* With the new Harry Styles album out, the albums second release in "Sweet Creature" jumps up fifteen places to a new peak of No.63.
* Now that streaming is being incorporated into the Albums chart as of this week, and Ed Sheeran regains the No.1 spot over there, some of his lower tracks move back up this week, with "Perfect" (53 to 51), "Dive" (74 to 69), "Supermarket Flowers" (87 to 77), and returning are "How Would You Feel (Paean)?" (#100) and regaining its longest charted single status is "Thinking Out Loud" which is back in at No.94 for its 126th week within the hundred (still the longest).
* Redbone is back up six places to No.73 with "Redbone", which is now ▲Platinum in sales.
* After being sung on The Voice this past week, the Calum Scott version of "Dancing on My Own" is back up seventeen places to No.82.
* The third and final re-entry this week is the latest Anne-Marie track "Ciao Adios" which returns at a new peak of No.88 thanks to her promo tour here this past week.

* Within the Top 20 there are only two major moves, up was Jason DeRulo, and down is the Drake track "Passionfruit" which falls four places to No.20.
* Also dropping four are Jax Jones with Raye and "You Don't Know Me" to No.24.
* Calvin Harris drops five spots to No.36 with his "Heatstroke" track.
* Zayn and PartyNextDoor fall down seven places to No.39 with "Still Got Time".
* Also down seven to No.44 is Amy Shark and her first entry "Adore", whilst her second entry "Weekends" is down a spot to No.56.
* Last weeks debut for Katy Perry in "Bon Appetit" drops down eleven places this week to No.46, whilst her other entry "Chained to the Rhythm" is also down eleven to No.57.
* Kendrick Lamar is down with two more of his three entries for this week, as "DNA" (27 to 31) and "Loyalty" (44 to 50) both drop ("Love" is up two places to No.47).
* Leaving the Top 50 for the first time is the duet between Zayn and Taylor Swift and "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", down this week eight places to No.55.
* Imagine Dragons' two entries both fall this week, with "Thunder" down seven to No.68 and then "Believer" tumbles nineteen spots to No.92.
* Dropping twelve to No.70 is Andy Grammer and his "Fresh Eyes" track.
* Falling down a massive twenty-one spots to No.84 is Mura Masa and "Love$ick".
* But a bigger drop occurs for Stargate with Pink and Sia on "Waterfall", down twenty-four to No.90, but it does pick up a Gold (●) in sales this week.
* Down eleven to No.93 is Lord Huron and their first entry "The Night We Met".
* The biggest drop of the week though goes to Sheppard and "Keep Me Crazy", down twenty-seven chart-rungs to land at No.98.

* #11 - Slow Hands by Niall Horan is the second chart entry for the former One Direction member and his follow up to "This Town" which hit No.5 back in October of 2016, and supposedly his debut album will be out in mid-June when he will also be in the country for a promo tour.

* #37 - Mama by Jonas Blue feat William Singe is the fourth chart entry for the English DJ and producer born Guy James Robin, and with this song debuting within the Top 40 it atomatically becomes his fourth Top 40 hit after "Fast Car" (HP-1), Perfect Starngers" (HP-6) and "By Your Side" (HP-33).

* #54 - Want You Back by HAIM is the first chart-entry in two years for the three-sister led band, and this is the first taste of their July 7th due second album "Something to Tell You", plus this becomes their sixth (five as lead, one as guest) Top 100 entry.

* #60 - Hyperreal by Flume feat Kucka is the final in the 'Skin' series to be released (according to Flume at least), and this track is taken from the recently vinyl-issued "Skin Companion II" EP (HP-67) and becomes his thirteenth Top 100 entry (eleven singles and two EP's).

* #62 - Eyes Closed by Halsey is the second release from the forthcoming second album for Halsey entitled "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom" due in three weeks time (June 2nd), and follows on from the current chart entry "Now or Never" (HP-21, TW-27) and becomes her eighth Top 100 entry (six as lead, two a guest vocalist).

* #95 - 1-800-273-8255 by Logic feat Alessia Cara and Khalid is taken from the third Logic album "Everybody" (New TW-25) and it becomes his third Top 100 entry and first as lead artist, having previously been within the ensemble that did "Sucker for Pain" (HP-7, 2016) and then as guest on the Gin Wigmore song "Willing to Die" (HP-88, 2016), whilst its the first for Khalid (his second will most likely be next week with the new Calvin Harris track "Rollin'") and the seventh overall for Alessia Cara.

After a single away from the #1 spot, returning this week to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart is Ed Sheeran's "÷ (Divide)" album.

"÷ (Divide)" is now spending its ninth week at No.1 in Australia, making it Ed's longest running No.1 album here, beating the eight weeks that "x (Multiply)" achieved between late June 2014 and late June of 2015 (six runs at the top). Ed has now amassed eighteen weeks overall at No.1 here with his three chart-topping albums, and he moves up the list of 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Albums, 1965-2017' from equal 32nd to now equal 28th alongside Bryan Adams, Herb Alpert and Slade (with 2 #1's) and Boz Scaggs (one #1 album).

After two weeks at No.3, the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" album climbs a single place to a new peak of No.2, becoming the fifth soundtrack this year to either hit No.1 or No.2, and it also peaks at the same place that the film franchise's first album achieved back in August of 2014, whilst back up two places to No.3 this week is the Kendrick Lamar album "Damn.", with this weeks albums chart now including Streaming information for the first time, this set is No.2 on that chart this week. Last weeks No.1 debut for Bliss N' Eso with "Off the Grid" is down three places to No.4 and thanks to Mothers Day (here) this weekend (14th May), the Mark Vincent album "A Tribute to Mario Lanza" is back up two places to No.5.

Bruno Mars recently announced a tour of Australia (for March of 2018) and that helps his album "24K Magic" to climb again this week, up four to No.6, whilst back up two places to No.7 is Adele and her "25" set, which is the only new album certification this week, now 10x▲Platinum. The highest new entry (and only one within the Top 10) is the third greatest hits set for local act Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds entitled "Lovely Creatures - The Best of", it debuts at No.8 this week becoming the bands eleventh Top 10 album and their second collection to crack the Top 10, as "The Best of" debuted and peaked at No.2 in late May of 1998, and then their next collection "B-Sides and Rarities" went to No.36 in early April of 2005. This is followed by another best of set, this one by Tina Arena and her "Greatest Hits & Interpretations" is back up two places to No.9 and spending its fourth week inside the Top 10, and also returning for its 98th week within the ten is Ed Sheeran's "x (Multiply)", up two places also giving Ed the bookends of the Top 10 this week.

* The Ten Tenors climb three places to a new peak of No.26 with "Wish You Were Here".
* After debuting last week at No.31, the Bee Gees climb a spot to a new peak of No.30 with "Timeless: The All-Time Greatest", plus their collection "Mythology" (HP-3) returns at No.76.
* Drake blasts back into the Top 100 at No.32 with his "More Life" album, which is No.3 on the LP streaming chart this week, whilst his "Views" set returns at No.71 (#12 streamed).

* The Weeknd and his "Starboy" set rise back up thirty-one places to No.44.
* Green Day kicked off their national tour this past week, and their latest album "Revolution Radio" is up one to No.46, while their previous album "American Idiot" is back in at No.83.
* Justin Bieber flies back into the Top 100 at No.48 with his "Purpose" album (#9 streamed).
* Bruno's tour announcement also drags up his older albums "Doo-Wops and Hooligans" (63 to 51) and "Unorthodox Jukebox" (74 to 58).
* Also returning this week are the soundtracks for the "Suicide Squad" (#56), "La La Land" (#62) and "Fifty Shades Darker" (#92), the last two recently released on DVD and Blu-Ray here.
* Jumping up twenty-one spots to No.66 are Vance Joy and "Dream Your Life Away".

* #29 (LP#11) - Pollinator by Blondie is released just after the band toured the country in mid-April alongside Cyndi Lauper, and becoms the 70's pop-punk bands tenth studio album to chart here (#9 in 2011 didn't chart here), and becomes their highest charted studio album since just before their initial split in 1982, when "The Hunter" peaked at No.15 for two weeks in mid-July, 1982.

* #33 (LP#7) - The Weather by Pond is the local pop-psych bands fourth albums chart entry and now their second highest charted, as their last set from February 2015 in "Man it Feels Like Space Again" debuted and peaked at No.15.

* #35 (LP#4) - Graveyard Shift by Motionless in White is the US metal bands first new album in just under three years, and becomes their second to chart here, as their last set "Reincarnate" debuted and peaked at No.19 in late September of 2014.

* #37 (LP#13) - Turn Up the Quiet by Diana Krall becomes her ninth entry and ninth Top 50 album in Australia, and features covers of classic 50's and 60's songs like "Sway", "I'll See You in My Dreams" and "L-O-V-E".

* #81 (LP#1) - American Teen by Khalid is the debut album for this El Paso, Texas native who at 19 also scored his first singles chart entry this week too as a guest on the Logic track at No.95.

* #85 (LP#2) - Mirrorland by Strangers is the Australia bands second album and entry, as their debut set "Persona Non Grata" made it to No.67 for a week in the chart back in October of 2012.

12ND WEEK @ #121DJ Khaled (feat Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne) - I'm The One

Top 50 dropouts:

LWArtist - Title
46Katy Perry (feat Skip Marley) - Chained To The Rhythm
47ZAYN & Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever
48Future (feat Rihanna) - Selfish
50Maroon 5 (feat Future) - Cold
This week sees I'm the One by DJ Khaled featuring Justin Bieber, Chavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil' Wayne. Justin Bieber also features on the number 2 track Despacito. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran has number 3 and 4 so we have one artist on the number 1 and 2 songs and another with number 3 and 4, Doubt that's ever been done but I will wait for Bulion's summary.

The top songs in each category are:
Overall: I'm the one
Australian: Waves - Dean Lewis
Streaming: I'm the one
Australian streaming: Waves
Urban: I'm the one
Dance: Symphony - Clean Bandit
Club: Love Addict - Colour Castle
Digital: I'm the One
Video: I'm the One
Main beneficiaries of album chart streaming this week seem to be Ed Sheeran (well he was gonna be #1 anyway probably ) & Kendrick of course, but also we have top 50 re-entries for Drake, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd & Zara Larsson.
Seems to have favoured more contemporary artists.
Yeah, it's to be expected considering the demographics. Surprised The Chainsmokers dropped though. Granted there were a few debuts, but they've got a decent few tracks doing well on streaming apart from their two singles.

omg niall being #11

Also surprised that Chainsmokers fell this week on albums but perhaps streaming couldn't compensate the sales decrease. You can see that streaming has impacted the lower positions judging by the urban chart.

Nice to see 25 go 10 x Platinum this week. Just wish that Remote Control would update her certs for her two other albums.

Despacito looks fairly certain to get to #1 next week. May be another long running chart topper.

Otherwise it's quite à disaster for the new Katy Perry single given her chart history in Australia.

Forgot one new album entry this week (bloody head cold)

* #17 (LP#3) - The Water by San Cisco is the local acts third studio album, and it debuts at the same position that their debut self-titled album achieved in December of 2012, whilst their last album "Gracetown" debuted and peaked at No.2 in March 2015.
Glad that Dean Lewis' latest unoriginal, shitty song didn't chart this week. Hopefully it doesn't next week either.
It seems especially silly that ARIA continue to not notice Location, meanwhile Khalid's song with Logic which is getting streamed less gets in without a problem.
