Maybe this is why they left "Glowing in the Streets" off the album, but it won't stop me making jokes about it! :P Actually it sounds a bit like "Glowing in the Streets" too. I need to listen more, but my main first impression was 'wow, that bridge comes out of nowhere!'.

Great song.

Very nice track! Nearly as good as 'Plans' and 'Wild At Heart'!

Lovely track, please be a mega-hit!

This is awesome! I hope it grows on me even more. 5

EDIT: Okay stuff this, it might be something different for Birds of Tokyo but I love this softer style of theirs. 6

Don't think that it's THAT great. However, I'd probably like it more if it weren't in so many promos for Revenge.

I didnt expect to be as impressed as I was when I heard this for the first time on the radio today, would love to see it become big!
****
Wasn't expecting to like this, but I do. The bridge is especially great.

It is fair to suggest that they have evolved a lot over the years. Compare this with virtually anything from Universes and you'll get quite a contrast. At first I wasn't sure about this. It didn't seem radio-friendly to me because the melody wasn't delivered in the same style as their previous commercial hits to me. 'This Fire' was for me a bit underwhelming, it just never excited me much after the first half dozen listens, and then when radio picked it up I didn't really explore it much anymore. This seems destined to follow the same path but I feel as though I need to start pretending it's not Birds of Tokyo for me to really enjoy it. Long story short, I really hope their album isn't full of stuff like this because all in all this doesn't exactly excite me. 3.5*

Way overplayed (even in NZ where it didn't even chart). Got over it quick.

Doubtful it would be popular if it wasn't on so many promos for Revenge. But incredible.

Very surprised it was so low on the Triple J Hottest 100!

I really thought this was the end of my love for BOT because I never warmed to it and with the rest of the album it all became to samey. It's commercial success also hinder on it's downfall, it's not bad or good just plain over rated imo.

It's okay but kind of undeserving of its massive success here. The bridge is my favourite part due to the release of tension and lack of absolute boringness which occurs in the rest of the song. I prefer "Plans" and "Wild At Heart".
