It was nice to see Hilltop Hoods get a crossover hit. In fairness they were so hot at the time that they weren't going to struggle with it, but I do think this song holds up really well. The piano sample is addictive, and while the rapping isn't as strong as some of their efforts on "The Calling" or "The Hard Road", it's memorable enough that I can still sing along. 4.3

I was so over this, but now I can enjoy it freely. Just.

Having just wrapped up the 'Hard Road' restrung project, MC Suffa could hear strings on every new song the trio came up with. "This was no different. We decided to get a quartet in to beef up the track." Suffa also wants you to note that it wasn't inspired by Kirk Van Houten's 'Can I Borrow A Feeling'.

Chase That Feeling came in at 85 in my TOP 200 of 2009.

Massively overrated. It's a pretty crappy song.

This grew on me, and has become one of the best Australian Hip-Hop tracks!

yuck i don't like this - not a fan of hilltop hoods fullstop though. the beat and the backing music is good but their rap is unforgiveable.

Good but not great.

Not bad. Their best track.

Not my favourite genre, but this is ok. 'I Love It' was better though.

I don't like their vocals at all in this! A shame really because it brings down what is an otherwise high quality track. Why do they have to have such an ugly way of singing/rapping?

After 5-6 years of underground appreciation by a small but passionate group of fans (especially after The Nosebleed Section) and with 90% of their play on Triple J, Chase that Feeling proved to be their commercial and chart breakthrough, becoming their first ever top 10 track on ARIA.

An awesome track that heralded a new era for them.
