Yeah, but what if one of her secrets was that she slept around with a bunch of music journalists who subsequently gave her music inflated reviews, then would she care? It does raise a question as to whether (the worst subset of) the gamer community are worse than that of the music fan community. I imagine the latter would be *less* prone to doxing, and less 'united', but then when you see all the embarrassing things that circle the net, I'm not so sure.

That's all a bit irrelevant, but not entirely. Because when I hear this, all I can think of is 'is that it?', like am I supposed to celebrate this as a triumphant win over social constructs when it's to say the deep, dark secret of being afraid of the dentist? The way the chorus repeats 'so what?' ad naeseum turns it into utter pretension. You can't act all high and mighty by pretending to lay all the cards on the table when really there's a whole deck locked away in secret probably.

Just frankly it's near unlistenable for me. There's one effective line in 'I can't think straight, I'm so gay', but really, this should just be re-written in the first person, renamed "22 Things About You That Aren't As Unique As You Think They Are (And May Be Used For Targetting Advertisements)" and posted on BuzzFeed. At least then I'd never have to see it. 1.2

Quite a cheap sounding effort to me. Very mediocre. 2.25

Crap.
****
Lyrically it's very much failed inspirational but it's at least kind of catchy and fun and this version has no cruddy out of place rap; bonus!
**
TBH I find this a bit boring, the verses are tuneless and irritating. Might grow on me but can't see it doing so. What a disappointment.
***
Some bits are annoying but it's not one of the
worst things in the charts right now. 2.9.

Hideous song. The lyrics are just so shallow and bizarre in parts. Even if I could ignore that, the way she sings the chorus makes this terribly annoying.
**
Embarrassingly bad! The "inspirational" lyrics make me cringe and that chorus just makes me irritable, especially the repeated "so what". Her voice is close to unbearable on this which is such a disappointing contrast to the beautiful vocals she provided for "Same Love". Just listing your imperfections in such a clumsy and annoying way is not the way to go about making an inspirational song.

The only things saving this from 1* is the relatively pleasant pre-chorus which gives me a break from the cruddiness and the "I can't think straight, I'm so gay" lyric (which genuinely made me laugh and I love how she literally comes out of a closet in the video at that point in the song). Otherwise this is terrible, a shame it was ever relevant.
