I'd heard their other two tracks prior to this and didn't think that much of them (although I gave them a few listens since this review and they've grown on me). But this was impressive on first listen and I quickly grew to love it.

It just makes me so happy, love the production, the beat drop and the vocals. Just love it all. I was surprised and thrilled that it managed to make the top 5 as I never expected it would. At this point in time I'll be shocked if it's not #1 for me when I compile my mid-year and it'll probably be up high once EOY comes around.

Edit (22/03/2015):

I got a little sick of it not long after mid-year but it managed to recover and just win the battle of my 2014 EOY #1 with "Keep Me Up". It gets better with time for me and still sounds so amazing and fresh over a year on, starting to get up there with my favourites of the decade. I love how much success this and Peking Duk have had, because it's truly deserved.

Very cool track from Peking Duk - much better than 'The Way You Are'. That drop sounds familiar, but is nonetheless great!

It's not quite what I was expecting based on the artist/title combo but I still got little from it.

I'm liking it more now.

I've decided that this doesn't count as something as I should irrationally love, mainly because I'm also irrational in the area of spelling. It's better than its more high-profile counterparts but it doesn't overly excite me. 3.5

Edit: Never mind me, liking this more! 4.25

Not bad.

Probably just me but this feels strongly reminiscent of "Midnight City", with the oddly-seeming-to-come-at-the-wrong-time-beats-that-eventually-start-to-make-sense-after-multiple-listens-and-it-becomes-euphoric-and-wonderful thing. While this doesn't have some of the subtle touches which that has, gosh it makes me happy.

Hated it at first but it's growing on me.

Very nice indeed!

It's nice to see it clawing it's way up the charts!

I really like this and can see it becoming a hit in Europe.

Very catchy and infectious. I think Nicole Millar's vocals are very strong and blend well with the beats. Well done and I hope Peking Duk does well with this.

Fresh sound. I was indifferent on this at first, but this has been a grower. A good track to turn up the volume to in the car. 4.7*
EDIT: Upgrade. 5*

Considering all the praise this gets, I expected a lot more. Not a big fan sadly.

It took ages to grow on me but this is an excellent Aussie indie dance track.

It's OK I guess.

Interesting to note that Nicole Millar didn't get any credit in the song. Not that it brings it down in any way. An absolute cracker.
