***** I've heard words bandied around about this being the best Australian release of the year, or even so far as to say THE best release of the year. I wouldn't personally go so far as to say that, but I do believe that this is a fine album. It had the unusual characteristic of picking up towards the later tracklisting, which was a pleasant surprise since I was worried that the quality would slip. For anyone wanting to sample the band's sound, I'd say "Lucidity" is the way to go. Single "Solitude is Bliss" is my stand out however, thanks to some top notch drumming which can be heard through the whole record.
***** It's a fine album, with 'Solitude Is Bliss' being the best. I wish I had heard this earlier as it would have made more of an impact on my charts. 5.5*
**** It's a pretty cool album, certainly much more so than I gave it credit for when it was first released. After a bit of a break from hearing it and then revisiting it after the release of Lonerism, it seems much better than it did. That said, I do prefer Lonerism.
