'Whats wrong with the world MAMA?'....i'd say: too many things. You know, this is the only song in the past 10 years that really touched me with it's lyrics...#1 in UK for 6WEEKS and #8 in U.S.A.....
******
Great!
****
A quite good song for the BEP ...
****

This song is epic and was hugely successful here in the UK. The biggest seller of 2003. 33 weeks in the UK top 100. Their first UK#1. UK#1 for 6 Weeks and Ireland#1. 760,330 copies sold in the UK.

UK Christmas Charts:03,10.

******
One of BEP's best tracks.
**
never liked it
***
Agree whole heartedly with Irelander's comment, overrated!
****
Also not bad. Catchy.
****
Their best. Actually quite decent.
***
i used to like this when i was young
*****
good
***
Okay on occasion but I get sick of it so easily.
*****
my fav BEP song ever, they will never be this good again..
******
Awesome song with a good message
****
Didn't like it at first but it grew on me. The addition of Fergie was a good thing, and JT's inclusion on this track helped, without him the track would never have grown on me. And compared to what they're releasing now, this is gold. I do find the lyrics to be rather cheap cliches, I mean, what they're saying is a nice sentiment, but rather meaningless. They're just trying to use that sentiment to cash in.

Love it, this is when they were at their best!
*****
A simple yet basic song with great harmonies.

This is what the BEP are capable of and hopefully will return to one day.
******
Absolutely brilliant. Quite possibly their best song. It's such a shame to think that they are capable of music like this, yet make the trash that's hitting the charts at the moment.
******
Its sad to see what they've become. Nothing they can do will be able to top this.
****
I still don't think it's the masterpiece some people claim it is, as I often find myself tuning out whenever it is on. Having said that it is miles ahead of the new direction BEP have taken on their recent albums.
******
Excellent song!
****
Not what one would expect from the black eyed peas, but it could have been better
*****
Very powerful message within this song. One of the Black Eyed Peas best songs.

24 Weeks in the top 20, 19 weeks in the top 10 and 14 weeks in the top 3 :O

Brilliant. One of the most powerful hip hop tracks I've ever heard.
****
4 stars
***
Not as bad as 'If Everyone Cared' or the Pea's own 'Union' I guess, but still not how you do a 'message song'
*****
I didn't like this much in the early days but took notice as it became a smash hit.
Yes, the cliches verge on being annoying. But this song may sometimes be enjoyable with friends, in the right context. 4.7*

They only good track they have ever done.
Memorable and deserved all it's success. Early 2000's classic.
******
perfect
****
Much better than the rubbish they're creating nowadays.
*****
This is the BEP I grew up with. Now they have gone downhill. Awesome track.
*****
Quite a memorable Black Eyed Peas song. The verses actually mean something here and Justin Timberlake makes this song even better. A deserving hit.
