So from the opening bars, there's a very key similarity to Ellie Goulding's recent US smash hit "Lights". And one can gather from the tempo that there is a certain bearing towards modern stylings as if to say that...

Die Eröffnung kennt man von Ellie Goulding's LIGHTS, dann wird's aber nicht besser: eklige Drums, wirre Synthi-Effekte, der schwache Chorus - zielt klar in Richtung L.A.- Kotztüten-Club-Pop.

I quite like it, but I don't love it, in fact, I'd say I prefer all the singles from the previous HMU era. However, the sound is quite edgy, this is how you're supposed to fuse pop and dubby-dance stuff, not like what we've been seeing in pop in 2012.

Der "Lights"-Beginn ist eindeutig noch das Beste an diesem Song, danach driftet er in eine ganz unangenehm überproduzierte Richtung ab, die ich wirklich nicht noch öfter brauche. Billischkeit kennt keine Grenzen.

Interessante Richtung, die The Veronicas da gehen. Klingt durchaus düster, machts sehr spannend. Sonst kein großes Highlight. 4*

ich schwanke zwischen "boah, das nervt!" und "aber irgendwie is' es interessant..." ... eigentlich 3 sterne, aber einen als bonus oben drauf, weil ich die beiden seit der ersten stunde mag. ;)

This has a fairly good sound. It's not overly exciting, so I wouldn't rate this as near their best.

I don't think I like it overly much but I sort of think I do or will. I hate the bit after the chorus or during or whatever, but the rest is reasonably catchy.
