Welcome to the betting game for the football world cup 2010.
Bet on the final scores of all matches.
A certain number of points are awarded depending on how accurately the match outcome was predicted:
4 points = Number of goals scored by both teams was correctly predicted.
3 points = The match outcome was correctly predicted, i.e. which team won, and the number of goals scored by one of the teams was correctly predicted.
2 points = The match outcome was correctly predicted, i.e. which team won.
1 point = The match outcome was incorrectly predicted, i.e. the wrong team was predicted to win, but the number of goals scored by one of the teams was correctly predicted.
0 points = The predicted match outcome was completely incorrect, i.e. the predicted winner was incorrect and the predicted number of goals scored by both teams was incorrect.
Example: The final score of the match is 1-2.
1-2 was tipped = 4 points
0-2 was tipped = 3 points
2-4 was tipped = 2 points
3-2 was tipped = 1 point
0-0 or 2-1 was tipped = 0 points
Note: More points will be rewarded beginning with the last-sixteen round
Last-sixteen: twice the number of points
Quarter-finals: three times the number of points
Semi-finals/3rd place play-off: four times the number of points
Final: five times the number of points
Starting with the last-sixteen, a victory through penalty shoot-out counts as one goal. This means that if the score stands at 3-3 after extra time and one of the teams wins a penalty shoot-out 5-4, the correctly tipped score would be 4-3.
Until when can bets be placed on a match?
